Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Workshop Presented by:

Dell EqualLogic, Force10 Networks and Telekenex

Dell EqualLogic iSCSI SAN

The Dell EqualLogic Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery workshop provides the opportunity for attendees to see and experience the data protection and recovery functions of the

PS Series Storage Array in a real world scenarios. In this live workshop, attendees  use the features of the PS Series solution to recover individual files, entire volumes, collections of volumes,

bootable volumes, and SQL databases. We’ll showcase how to capture and recover data and from crash consistent and application consistent snapshots and replicas.  You’ll learn how to save and restore data locally using snapshots, as well as across WAN links using replication.

Why Force10 Networks with Dell EqualLogic?

Performance, simplicity, and cost-effectiveness have made Ethernet the networking technology of choice in the Enterprise . Each new generation of Ethernet has proven this value proposition to be a constant. And with the increasing volume of data traffic in the enterprise, the decision has already been made: 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10 GbE) will be the next backbone technology. High-performance 10 GbE from Force10 Networks gives Enterprises the functionality and scalability they need to build their next-generation backbones cost-effectively.   And as the world and workforces disperse, there must be fast and reliable connections from anywhere at any time for the data center to help increase efficiency and competitiveness.

Learn how Force10 can answer the challenges from the following technology changes:

  • High performance, cost-effective computing.
  • High-speed storage access and backup.
  • Embedded security and dynamic denial of service protection.
  • High-speed, congestion-free networks.
  • Virtualizing a centralized network and assets.

Data Centers offer a secure environment to host your servers, mission critical applications and private data.  Many data centers also offer redundant power feeds and fiber feeds into the building with back up generators which for all intent and purposes should keep your company up 99.999% of the time.   Come learn how data center colocation plays an integral part in every companies disaster recovery plan.

Telekenex Data Center Colocation helps organizations establish a physical presence in a new market without the expenses related to additional staffing and office space. We offer customers the option to lease space in our Point-of-Presence (POP) to securely place your own telecommunications equipment to increase network reliability and drive down costs.

And please stay and join us for complementary data center tours at the end of our session.
